For over 16 years a gathering of gamers has been called a Stink. Join us for the original Wednesday night event to meet fellow gamers. Play some games, meet gaming groups, or just hang out. It’s up to you. The Stink is coming. Zombies, dragons, thrones. Games of many types await you at Gen Con. But first, the Stink. Come hold-the-door against the mundane world as you kick off your Gen Con adventure. The Stink is coming.

Description Industry panelists lead a discussion of gender and sexuality issues in gaming from design and publishing to game-play and community. Lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender people are a part of the gamer community. Although the gaming community is known for its tolerance, LGBT people still often struggle to see places for themselves in the fantasy worlds we create.

Description Looking for ways to make your game setting more LGBTQ+ inclusive? Our panel of game industry professionals will discuss some of the many ways to do so, from the setting to your pantheon. Where do LGBTQ+ folk fit into your fiction or gaming setting? How do you introduce queer characters in a way that is natural and non-offensive? If setting myth reflects setting reality, then is there diversity and inclusion in your pantheon? Come join industry panelists while we talk about techniques and advice for doing so.
