When your customers feel comfortable being themselves in your store, and recognize that diversity is a priority for you, they are more likely to return in the future and support your business.
Tabletop Gaymers is proud to work with the Game Manufacturers Association (GAMA), a nonprofit trade organization dedicated to serving the hobby games industry, to bring the Safe Space Initiative to Retailers. This program is designed to support retailers wanting to demonstrate their commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
We are developing a starter kit that will include posters, window clings, and brochures to help inform your patrons along with Safe Space buttons and enamel pins for you to give away or to sell as part of your own charitable fundraising efforts. The kit will include:
- 3 Safe Space posters with commitment messaging
- 2 Safe Space window clings
- 50 tri-fold brochures
- 50 Safe Space buttons intended for charitable fundraising
- 25 Safe Space enamel pins intended for charitable fundraising
Open Source Material
Purchasing a starter kit will help support the initiative. But if you prefer to modify or source the material locally, all of the designs, information, and templates will be provided using the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license. Profit from the sale of of the provided buttons, enamel pins, or derivative work must be donated to a recognized 501(c)3 nonprofit organization of your choosing that supports diversity.
