The Gayme Night program provides engaging and inclusive board game events for LGBTQIA+ Community Centers across the nation. By offering a variety of easy-to-learn tabletop games, these centers can create fun, safe, and recurring activities that foster social interaction and community connection. This initiative ensures that patrons have the opportunity to learn and experience these games, socialize, network, and make new friends in a healthy and safe environment.
How It Works
We collaborate with game publishers to collect in-kind donations of tabletop games. We bundle these games into kits and distribute them to community centers at no cost. Furthermore, we assist in identifying and connecting local “Gayme Masters” to teach the games and coordinate events. This ensures that everyone, regardless of experience, can participate fully and enjoy the activities.
Get Involved
There are several ways to support Gayme Night:
- Donate Games: Publishers and individuals can donate 10-20 copies of a single game to be included in our kits.
- Apply for a Kit: LGBTQIA+ Community Centers can apply to receive a game kit and start hosting Gayme Night events.
- Become a Gayme Master: Volunteers can teach games and assist in event coordination, enhancing the experience for all participants.
- Financial Support and Partnerships
As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we rely on donations and partnerships to sustain our programs. Each Gayme Night Kit requires around $250 in donations. Financial contributions help cover the cost of games, packaging, shipping, and event materials. Corporate partners receive promotional benefits, including their logo on game materials and our website, helping to expand their reach and support a worthy cause.
